Development of slide film

I am having a very confusing, albeit un-
pleasant experience with a so called
quality lab. Shot 120 EV100. Some of these shots when printed have the people on the wrong side of the picture which would tell me that the emulsion side was up instead of down. Having sent the negatives back to them for a re-do I find that they claim to have processed them correctly and will not redo them except at further cost. I called Kodak and they also said it sounded like the emulsion side was not
down. However, the lab claims if the word Kodak is in a certain place and notches are in a certain place then the film is being printed correctly. I must
say that I have another person who was with me at the time and claims they are
reversed. Lab is so certain they are right that they won't re-print. &80.00
for 24 5x5 prints is pretty expensive.
I'm not a color slide expert so I can't really argue well,(I don't like to argue), but I need to know what went array. Any thoughts out there? The Lab
is Ferrari in Sacto. In fairness to them
they print for a friend and have done some nice work.
