Nikon I've been thinking about purchasing a Nikon DX1, but with the newer cameras just around the corner with double digit megapixels, I was wondering if anyone knows if Nikon is going to come out with something like the DX1 but with more megapixels?

I don't know the answer to that one Damian. But I do know that if Nikon does come out with something new, it will be something I certainly can't afford!! The D1X was expensive enough. But if they do come out with something new, you may want to think about picking up someones D1X for a really nice price if they are upgrading!! The Nikkor lenses are where you should really be putting your money anyway. And they can always work with a newer DSLR from Nikon when they come out with new models in the future. Just something to think about.

Thanks Heather! I've been thinking about it a lot. Speant a lot of time on the Nikon site last night and had to keep wiping the drool off my chin... Great stuff they've got!
