Skylight Filter - water not as blue?

Hello. I have a skylight filter to protect my camera. I know they make people's skin look warmer. BUT since it takes the blue out, would it be better for me to remove it if I want to just film beautiful blue caribbean water? I do not want any blue taken out then.
Thanks,
Kathy

Try a polizer for the water shots. It intensifies the blue of the sky, you can turn it to get the effect you want, and it cuts down on glare.
