Shooting Snow??

Ok so I'm pretty new to the photo circuit. Just bought my first SLR Minolta 800si - It has all the features and seems to be a great camera although I've only just got confident in pressing the button! And boy am I burning film (and the bank!!) but I love it - I've got only one lens at the mo 28-105 but for the time being that seems to get me where I want to be.

I'm going on a family ski holiday soon and sure I'll be taking my new toy! Can anyone give me any pointers on taking mountain, action shots - I'm sure there are serious exposure considerations with all that white! and to be honest I'm used to catching still objects at the mo - I know the family are relying on me to capture the holiday (christmas n all) and to make it worse they are all my in laws - I've got to impress!!

GREAT SITE!!!

Richard (Paris-France)

Snow is easy. Meter it and open up 2 stops. Or set your exposure compensation for +2.
