How to get grainy/old looking photos

I was looking through an old photo album and really liked the quality and feel of some of the older photos (60s/70s). Is there anyway to mimic this 'poor' quality nowadays?

Well, I wouldn't call it poor. I like to think of that type of photography as having character. ;-))) If you're talking b&w film you could use the same film those images were probably shot on - Tri-x. Tri-x is a grainy gritty film. If you push it it gets even more so.
