  Sir,

I'd like to have an info about portraiture and fashion photography, maybe a photography studio.

Dorothy, the question you are asking is more complicated than you think. So much of it is based upon your style and preferences. The equipment you get and your road to your career are influenced by your style.

Being a professional photographer is a combination of being an artist, a craftsman, and a business person. Since you are asking this question it leads me to believe that you haven't formed a good base of knowledge about the art, craft, and business of photography. You're kind of putting the cart before the horse.

Being a professional photographer isn't something you just decide to do, go buy a camera, and start making money at it. It takes studying and practice (sometimes years). The information you require is substantial and much of it has to come from within you. The rest can be found in many books availabe at most any bookstore.

As a very rank amateur, I wonder the same thing. I have read many books, taken many photos and am contemplating taking courses. It seems to me that, the more I learn the more questions I have to ask. Is this how it will always be? I gather from all this that even the very experienced photographers and 'professionals' after many years are still trying new ideas and equipment and still coming up with new questions. Am I correct in these assumptions?

That's exactly the case. Not only is technology always changing but styles change and there are always techniques you can learn. In any profession (or in life for that matter) if you find a person who says they have nothing left to learn I'll show you a fool.

Take a look at the "Marketing Course" from Bryan Peterson here in Betterphoto, it seem perfectly fit with your actual needs:
