Photography Question

poses for group shots

I am shooting an inside group photo of 7 Mechanical Engineers for their new brochure. They want to be viewed as fun people and get rid of the old stereotype. Is there a website out there or a book that gives examples of group poses? Any suggestions from anyone in how to portray this with poses? It will be a very relaxed atmosphere so that will help alot. I would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions for me.
Thanks and I love this site more and more.

A prop here may or may not be related to their mechanical specialty, but . . .
Consider posing them in a vintage convertible or early 20th century car. How about on a piece of road machinery, pretending to be driving it?
Or pose them in baggy shorts with skateboards and baseball caps turned around backwards.

If you're shooting indoors and lighting with flash then arrange them how you will and let them be spontaneous. The flash will stop motion so just before you shoot tell the to GO! Do something goofy if they want. Take a bunch of shots and see what happens. Find out if they have any ideas beforehand as well.
