Sunlight Photography Sometimes when I photograph in sunlight, the four corners of the picture image come out darker or very shaded. What is the cause of this and how can I correct it?

This vignetting is usually caused by a wide-angle lens being used with too many filters or a hood that gets in the way. If your lens zooms, you can temporarily avoid the problem by zooming in a bit before each shot. The ultimate solution is to get a special hood that does not "crop out" the corners of your lens field of view... or remove a few of those stacked UV and polarizing filters ;^) If this is not the case, it sounds like the lens quality is not the best. If you are using a Nikon lens, though, you should have no problem with low quality; they're famous for their great lenses.
