Good Photography Colleges
Hi, I am the greenest of greenhorns on this site, and am a sophmore in high school. Looking at colleges, I was wondering what a good college for a student interested in photography might be. Like Harvard is to Law, what is to photography? Or just any good photography colleges. Thanks!

Also check out Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York. They appear to be geared more for scientific and industrial work, not fine art. Take a look at their entire photography program to see if something in it suits you. If you're interested in fine art photography, look for strong fine arts programs at colleges and universities. Then examine them for the strength of their photography program. -- John

One thing that shouldn't be overlooked... Include the price of housing as part of your school expenses. Brooks Institute is a fine school, http://www.brooks.edu/index2.html What people over look is how much it costs to live in the town where they choose to go to school. hth
