Comment hearts?

I am a little confused about what the hearts after the comments are for? Do we get some kind of points when somebody clicks the heart after we leave a comment on their image?
I know about the big heart to the right to "favorite" an image...
Also, does anybody else have to keep on logging in every time you come to visit BP? I thought Jim had fixed that, it was working for a little while, but now every time I get a notification that I got a comment., I have to log in, and of course once I log in it now takes me to my homepage and I have to navigate back to the original picture to read and respond to the comments. ( And yes I do click the "Remember Me" box... :-)

Jill, I think the hearts after the comments, are the same as Facebook when you "like" someone's comment. Just "heart" your own comment and I think you'll get an e-mail stating that someone (you) liked your comment. I don't know if you get points for "liking" someone's comments.

The log-ins are better, especially if my browser is still active. But when I bring up a new browser, I'm prompted to log-in again. It doesn't remember me. But it's better than what it was a few days back.

I just clicked the "Heart" aside your comment, so hopefully you got a BP e-mail stating that someone (or maybe it will say my name), "liked" your comment.

Jill, as a test I clicked on the "love it" link adjacent to a comment I had made awhile back...and my "gallery score" remained the same. Hopefully soon BP will tell us what goes into the gallery score. And I don't think we can see another person's gallery score. If we can, I'm not aware how to do it.

I did notice that score thing, but had no clue what it was either...Maybe Jim can explain it in his next video...I am still having to log in every time I come to BP...
