Replace FG20 with new camera, but what? I have an old and faithful Nikon FG20 and it might be time to retire this camera. I would like to replace it but I am not sure what would be my best bet. I shoot mostly sunsets, landscapes, beaches, lighthouses and water scenes. I rarely use flash. Whatever I buy must be durable and tough but I'd rather not spend $1000 for a high-end body and $300 more on a lens. An autowinder would be very helpful as well. Any suggestions?

Well, your asking a loaded question. But I'll give you my "shoot from the hip" answer. I like Pentax - I'm on my second. Anyway, if your wanting a 35mm, all the major brands are good. And Pentax makes a very affordable lineup. In fact I'm buying a another one so I will have one loaded with color slide and one with B/W. But if your really really serious about GREAT pictures, you might want to look into medium format cameras. I am.

Dave - Not sure if you've already gotten rid of the FG but thought I'd throw this in anyway... Until recently, I'd been shooting an FM and FG (purchased the FM 20 years ago). My FG gave up the ghost about a month ago and I purchased a new N90s as my new main body. One of the best purchases I've ever made. One of the best things about going with the N90s is that I can still use all of my Nikon lenses that I've collected over the past 20 years, although I did purchase a used Tokina 28-80/2.8 AF to try out the AF functions of the camera. If the N90s is out of your price range, you might look at the new 80. I was actually going to pick that one up but, after handling the 90s, went with the 90s due to it's feel. If you have a good collection of lenses, it makes a great deal of sense to stick with Nikon. --Just my 2 cents.
