Eye Test

Eye test we can use as photographers :) I tend to get narrow visioned sometimes on my subject and miss other things in & around the frame of the viewfinder.

That's so weird! Notice if you focus on one of the dots instead of the center, it doesn't disappear. I'm a bit confused by that..either it should disappear or shouldn't..Oh well, nobody ever said I was smart.

Thats the whole point Carolyn. The outer dots never really do disappear, they only seem to because your focused on the center dot. Shift your focus to the outer dots and you can see they don't disappear. Seems like a good case for not centering your subject in the viewfinder.....you'll miss whats going on around the edges.

That is really cool! A bit scary - think of driving a car and the dots around you (other cars) disappear....

That is definitely interesting. And I'm sure perception also blinds us to things right in front of us! Thanks, Carlton!
