Which camera is best for underwater photography
Hi there.I recently decided to marry my love for scuba diving with photography and would like to know if there is anyone out there who can recommend which of the following three cameras to get for this purpose: Canon Powershot S100; Canon G12 or the SeaLife DC14.0mp Underwater Digital Camera. I dive anything from 12m to 32m. Any and all advice would be very much appreciated as this is avery new aspect of photography for me. Regards Jodi

I have a G12 and could not be happier with it. I teach Digital underwater Photography and have found that many of my students who use the Sealife cameras often find them more difficult to navigate. Having used a few other brands underwater I have found the Canon's get very good colour, especially the blue of open water, so in terms of which Canon I would suggest it depends a little on your budget and how far you want to be able to go with it.

Thanks a million Susanna for your response. It has been very helpful. As a matter of interest where do you teach? I have a friend who is in Kuala Lumpur and wanting to find out... Do you do online courses? Betterphoto should offer one of your courses! Wow that would be something amazing. Anyway, many thanks. Jodi
