Photography Question

Janice M. Borodezt

How to Shoot picture in Utah

My husband and I will be going on vacation in August to Utah.

Would you be able to recommend books, video, etc or websites to help me research before I go on vacation.

Thank you so much.

I had purchased one video and returned it because it was aweful.

  Hi Janice
I have been to Utah many times and thing you will really enjoy the visit. There are many books on the subject and ones I've found very informative are the National Geographic books such as "Guide to the National Parks, Southwest", which can be found in most book stores. When traveling I also try to get all the state travel or visitors guides for their state. If time permits try to visit all the National and State Parks in Utah. You won't be disappointed. I'll add some web sites you might look at.

  Hi Janice,

I bought Laurent Martres two books and they are perfect for photographers. Easy to find on amazon.com

See my photos at http://www.peterkburian.com/-/peterkburian/gallery.php?cat=12649&pID=1&row=15

Unfortunately, Monument Valley is in the Arizona book but I don't think you would need that one anyway.

Be sure to go to Monument Valley; try to stay at Goulding's Lodge in Goulding Utah. That is the best part of the park.

Cheers! Peter
