Photography Question

Amber J. Mattson

Spill?

I have a quick question... my husband accidentally spilled a lemonade that trickled down on to my camera kinda splattering it.

Anyway I hurried up and dried it off as best I could with a cloth and pushed in buttons to soak up as much as a could :( but now a few days later I am nervous that the sugar will expand and make it even more sticky...

I used it yesterday and it works fine? but I am worried... what should I do, is it worth to still try siliac packs or will it not matter anymore?? Its there something I could do to try and clean it more??

Any advice is helpful!!!

Thanks, Amber

It will take more than a small splash to ruin a camera. Clean the outside with alcohol. Silica packs can only help. If you never get over the fear of sugar inside the camera, then you'll have to take it someplace to get it cleaned.
