Does anyone know if it's possible (and how!) to make this boys' tooth on the left side (as you look at the photo) appear NOT to be set back? This is the mom's request....says it looks like he's missing a tooth. I have no idea what I would do with this. Any thoughts?

Select, copy, and paste the tooth next to it. Use layer mask to make the edges look natural. Resize if you need to and flatten.
Only took longer than what is actually needed because my computer doesn't go as fast running photoshop at the same time as being on the internet.

do you mind being more specific with the layer mask part. I don't do that too often, and then only as part of a pre-determined action set. Thanks!!! It looks great!

Do you mean what is a layer mask, or what did I do with the layer mask?

I erased around the edges so that it would look like a real tooth

Hi Tara,
I highly recommend Lewis Kempers Toolbox class. It is extensive using layers & tools and there is so much from that class I use on a daily basis.
Here is an image I threw together quickly using many of the techniques I learned in his class :)

Photoshop Toolbox I: Exposure and Color

Cheers,
Carlton
