I have a Basic Membership and it expires in January. If I take advantage of this sale, will it extend my membership for two years from today or for two years from the January 2, 2011, expiration date?

Its great to know that, the two-for-one sale also applies to Basic Memberships too. I for one would definitely like to take advantage of that. I just got the ad through email. I couldn't see how to renew (just to get a new gallery) so I went to my member center, basic membership, and clicked where it said "renew now". I was delighted to see the 2 for 1 option right there for the picking and so I did. Then I got the confirmation emails. However (and this is what concerns me), when I went back to my member page, basic membership, it now shows me good through Jan 2, 2011 (which is only one year's extension) instead of through Jan 2, 2012. Can you check into this, Brian, and make sure that we get what we think we are getting :) Thanks!

oops - I need a math course -- it's 2010 now! My gallery was due to expire Jan 2, 2011; now it shows Jan 2, 2012. It SHOULD show Jan 2, 2013 with a 2-year extension, right?

Hi Nikki, Sorry for the confusion - our system automatically adds the normal 1-year renewal when you make your payment, which now shows 2012 as you point out. The extra "free" year needs to still be processed, and I assure you it will be taken care of, although it could be Tuesday before you see that show up. (A large quantity of sale orders to process as you can imagine.) Your customer file has recorded your payment as a 2-for-1 transaction, so there is no question as to what you paid for. It says weekend sale and it also mentions Memorial Day weekend sale so is it good thru tonight (Sunday night) or thru Monday? Does anyone know? I definitely need to know so I can get mine renewed!

I read this thread and I am still confused. I bought a two for one package of the pro site. But I have about 11 months left on my basic portfolio. What happens to the 11 months I have left. When I bought the two for one deal I wrote and asked about it the same day. Than I wrote again about it and was told the site already set up. So now I am confused.

Renewals start at the end of your current expiration... They just add 1 (or 2) years onto your existing expiration date. The 2-for-1 sale will not show up as "2 years extended" in your member center until next week, when bp staff can adjust the date to reflect 2 years. Until then it will look like you just got 1 year renewal.

Hi Kerby, Chris is correct with his response. However,I want to follow up to be clear as your Basic renewal was made before this current sale. Your Basic Membership was renewed with a regular renewal several weeks ago, and correctly shows a renewal date of 05/31/2011. (You will still have your Basic portfolio, along with your new website.) Your new Pro Website you purchased at the 2-for-1 sale price has a renewal date of 5/30/2012. Your site has been activated and is ready for you to set up at your convenience. Check out your membership page. The membership renewal date should now be updated in your member centers. Mine says its good till September 2012! UB.

I followed the link from my e-mail regarding the 2 years for $49 sale yesterday (Monday, July 26, 2010). I went to my Basic membership page for the first time today (Tuesday, July 27) and it stated that my membership expires on July 26, 2011. Shouldn't it be 2012? When I paid, I had a confirmation error message. Could this be causing the problem? Thank you.
