You can upload directly into a Photo Category when uploading into your Deluxe BetterPholio (Admin Center > Photos > Upload New Photos). There is an additional drop-down box, "Enter the category you would like to add these photos to," that is not present when uploading into your Basic BetterPholio (Member Center > Better Photos > Upload New Photos).

I only answered one of your questions in my last reply.

The only real way to manipulate the order in which your photos are uploaded is within the Drag & Drop Uploader itself. The default View in the two right-hand panes of the uploader window is Thumbnails. If you right-click an empty spot in each window and click Details, you will change the view to include columns such as the Name and Modified date of the files therein. By default, the list sorts by Modified Date, with the newest at the top.

If you leave it like this, your newest photos will upload and appear at the beginning of that batch of uploads in your gallery. You can reverse that order by clicking on the column name Modified in the bottom-right pane and that will reverse the upload order and place the older dated files first.

Note that this only pertains to the batch of photos you're uploading at the time. Regardless of which order you upload them, they will be placed at the beginning of your photos in your Photo Manager.
