Photography Question

Ian Parsons

Constantly having to sign in!

This is SO frustrating!

OK. Now that I've gotten that out of the way...

I know I'm posting a question in the wrong category. This is because I can't find the right one! Something has obviously changed when it comes to navigating the site.

But I digress.

To the point of my frustration: When I'm not actively out shooting -which is most of the time these days- I like to come by here and just lose myself in all the cool photos that pour in (I do this by clicking on 'New Arrivals'. That's the easy part).

Oh yeah, I do sign in first, before doing ANYTHING else.

So I'm happily browsing through the pages and I'll eventually see something I want to make a favourite, or perhaps make a comment on. Most of the time, things work the way they're supposed to

Unfortunately, I'm seeing the following happen more and more:

I'll see additional pics I want to either mark as faves or otherwise comment on (remember, it works fine the first time)...

I click the relevant link -fave or read/response- and am greeted by a page telling me to 'sign in (or become a member)' before I'm able to go any further... Fine, I sign in again and wham..!! I'm dumped back to page one of the New Arrivals!!! This is most frustrating. Is there something I'm missing..? Some little nuance I'm overlooking..? Must I hold my mouth a certain way..?

tnx for your time!!

Maybe your sign-in timed out by the time you get around to commenting?

Ian, after signing in again, on the unwanted page, just press the browser back button twice and refresh the browser window and you will be fine.

This happens with me too, I thought it had to do with the browzer as I use firefox to surf the net.

Maybe BP should look into the matter and remove this glitch. Thanks for bringing the issue in.
