If I do not renew? Just curious what happens to my gallery of images if I do not renew my basic membership by the expiration date? If a couple of weeks later I come up with the membership fee and renew, do all my finalists, and winning medals from before show up again or do I have to start over with nothing? I am saving my pennies to renew but am not sure if I can come up with the entire amount by the date they are due and would hate to lose all the awards I have worked so hard to accumulate over the years here!

Jill, I do not have an answer for you. I would suggest sending an email to management of BetterPhoto. I am guessing something could be worked out. Perhaps your gallery could be "suspended" until you come up with the money to renew. I sure would hate to lose you as a BetterPhoto friend. You have a remarkable gallery, and your success in the contest over the years of you membership is a tribute to your skill as a photographer!

Jill, I thought some people paid a small amount each month versus the entire amount. Maybe that would be easier. But I agree with Ron..this is a question for BP.

Hi Jill, My daughter had a free gallery before the upgrade. She only had a few images posted, but she did have a finalist. I just looked for it and the award is still under the photograph. http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGallDetail.php?cat=&photoID=350947 I hope this helps, Donna

I think you need to contact BT too, Jill. Even if the thumbnail and award in the Finalists or Winners areas do not go away, that's no guarantee that those images could be re-attached to your gallery if you left and came back. Bet something will work our for you.

Thanks everyone, I got an answer from the BP staff. They said to copy and save all the info in my bio and gallery text because that may not be saved,just in case...They do save the images and awards etc. so when I can pay everything will still be there. Since I have my gallery with a black BG and blue text I need to save the code for that which I already have done.
