Sharon to answer you question you are supposed to put the date you entered so yes it would be a May EP since it is in the May contest. I write down all my entries on a tablet beside my PC with the date entered and the category.

Yeah, Was surprised to see one for June so soon! Here's hoping for a good month... 6/1- "I've Caught a Jewel" - Details and Macro
From my hummingbird shoot last summer. Yes Sharon - it is the date you entered that particular picture in the contest. Since I usually set up the entire month for my submits ahead of time, it is rare that the EP date and the actually date of putting it in the gallery is the same. Since I do databases all day long, I created a database for my EP's. It took me a while to do but I have them in order since my first one with BP numbers, what category, date entered, a brief description and a hyperlink to the actual picture in BP. Helps me keep things organized. What started me off doing this was at the last day of the month I print off, from my contest page, a copy of all my entries with the thumbnail and all the BP data since it totally disappears the next month. Originally I just did this as a project to get some database practice with Microsoft Word for MAC.

Debbie Thank you very much. This was a real surprise and I owe a lot of the success to this group. There seems to be a quirk in the photo entry into a thread like this. If you have entered the contest for the day and you try to post an image it will not let you put in the # of an uploaded image. So you have to post here before you enter a shot into the contest for the day. The tag comes over automatically with the image. I average about 10 images a month into the contest and reached 11 this month and am not entering any more so it is not a problem for me. That is except for the fact that I picked a wrong image from my uploads the first time.

Okay Debbie I will try to explain. But only try this if you haven't entered the contest for the day. If you have you will have to wait till tomorrow to try. Enter your text in the response area just as you always do then at the bottom of the page you will see a drop down box with the word select in it! Choose the number 1 for one photo then click on submit. On the next page that comes up you will see an area to upload a photo.....disregard this and look for a little box on the right hand side to enter the photo ID #. You can find this number in your editing section next to each photo you have uploaded to BP. Enter this number and click on the box that says you understand the terms and agreements and submit. This should be all you have to do! :~) I hope it works!

Thanks for the great instructions. I'll try tomorrow, Aimee. I do all that you say and then the second page rarely gives me the opportunity to give the BP number and wants me to search on my computer for a pic and this happens to me whether or not I've already sent or not sent my contest submission for the day. Drives me crazy. But the tags have never come with my pics before, have they? Maybe that is something new or else I'v never tried to enter an EP on a thread before.

Debbie the tags will only show if you use the little box with the number because if you upload you will only be taking the image off your hard drive. If you haven't entered the contest I don't know why the box wouldn't be there. The only thing I could think of is that it's something to do with having a MAC? Although I'm sure there are others who have MACs that use BP. Maybe if you continue having issues you should post a question in the BP forum to get help from other MAC users! :~)

Wooooo Hoooooo, it worked! I was surprised to see the little number box show up since it usually does not. What I did do differently was not to put anything on the left hand side except agreeing to the conditions. Prior to this time, I had always went ahead and filled in the title, etc, again. Okay....guess I'll have to change the way I do business and enter just before I go to bed.. Thanks for your patience, Aimee!!

The categories do say EP's and accomplishments and I considered it an accomplishment to sit for over three hours on a lawn that sloped at about a 45 degree angle while sipping wine. Unfortunately front shots were not possible because even though we went an hour before the gates opened we still had to sit on the backside of the stage.

This is my favorite flower in the garden even if it is a hybrid and not like columbines are in nature. In nature they are blue/white, plus being Colorado's state flower.

No worries Jeff we have all been there! We know where to find your gallery so we'll get there this time! :~) Well I'm having one of my worst months ever for EPs, but I asked for it entering all my so-so shots from long ago. I guess if I think they are so-so I just shouldn't enter them! One that baffled me was my pinwheel image....I thought for sure it was worthy. July will be better I'm sure of it! :~) Amazed at how well our little group does on a monthly basis. And Dale doesn't even join us here so theres a ton of EPs that don't get seen in this thread! :~)

Finished off my worst EP month in a long time on a good note with this one..although it is disapointing not to get as many, I now have the satisfaction of knowing the clients I have had recently liked my work and will cherish the images for the rest of their lives..it means so much to more to me the badges do! BTW, this is not the image I posted in the club because after I edited this one I noticed that the one I posted was a bit too warm and I'm going to tweak it some more..but I did apply some of the suggestions to this one..so thank you!
