Apple Aperture w/ Plugins vs. Elements 7 Hello Everyone, I'm a little confused when it comes to post-production. When I purchased Aperture, I thought it would handle everything I needed it to. Come to find out, it doesn't. So....... ..in your opinion, should I get the plug ins for Aperture to handle my post-production work? Or should I purchase Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 to do the adjustments, and only use Aperture for the cataloging of my photos?

Hi Jeff, I chose Lightroom over Aperture even though I am a MAC user. Elements 7 is a great option for photo editing unless you want to belly up the $$ for Photoshop. Lightroom is great for easy processing as it both manages and edits your images. Carlton

Hi Jeff, I have used aperture for several years. It is great for cataloging and most adjustments if you are shooting in RAW. I'd recommend getting elements 7 or the full photoshot for the more aggressive editing tasks. In aperture there is a pull down for "use extenal editor" which will launch photoshop from within aperture.
