Pros/Cons of printing on metallic paper

Just had a request from client wondering if I have capability of printing his selected image on metallic paper. He said he has another image from another photographer and REALLY likes the effects...

While I have certainly heard of this, not real familiar with it... Would love to hear opinions on this - i.e., what are the benefits of using it over more standard paper?

The image he wants is super high contrast, B&W - very dramatic and contemporary. Wondering if it would really make a big difference for this application.

Is the overall effect of the print metallic (has a "sheen" vs lustre)?

Thanks!

Christine
