My Prize Well this is about query regarding getting my prize after winning as a first place in People category for month march 2009 image "mystical". I got a email from betterphoto asking information about my address,shipping charges payment option etc. with a Note: if we do not hear from you within 10 days, your prize will be forfeited. I have replied about this to the bpsupport@betterphoto.com twice & online help support. But yet I didn't got any acknowledgment. I afraid I am going to miss my prize. Is anything I am doing wrong?

So they sent a e-mail asking for payment information, address etc? Of course I have never won anything here and so I am not aware how they go about doing so. If I get an e-mail from anyone (even if I know them) I never send my sensitive information in a reply. First I contact the company to make sure the e-mail is valid. I seen at the bottom of one screen here on BP that has a phone number to call them. Have you tried that? It just show is number at the bottom of the front page of BP so not sure what this number is for since there is no information attached to the number. When you click the contact button is does not show this number as an additional means of contact but the number is there or some purpose. Does not hurt to try it.... here it is: I am sure someone here will be able to give you more in depth information on this issue. Tammy

Hi Nilesh, As long as you replied to BP within the 10 days and sent your shipping information, you will receive your prize in the mail. It takes a little while for your bag to be shipped. Congratulations again, your image is very beautiful, Donna

Thanks for the replies. Well tammy I am sure the mail was from betterphoto & I have not sent any sensitive information. I mailed them about sending me shipping charges & method of payment. Donna yes I agree the shipping will take time but I am worried since I didn't get any acknowledgment to my mail & information about shipping charges & it's payment. Yes Jessica I have mailed to both the email Ids.

Don't always be to sure.... people make a living off people who assume. As you said, the e-mail most likely did come from Better Photo but you never can tell when you are going to fall pray to those horribel identity theft people. They are good, they are real good and fool the best of the best. Anyway, I am sure you know all that!!! did you ever make contact with BP or should I said did BP ever contact you?

Well today I got a reply & it looks like that there is something problem with betterphoto & my hotmail ID. I didn't got any replies before but BP is saying they replied all. Even I don't receive the comments sent on my images. I am changing my mail ID to gmail for BP. I have paid shipping charges & can wait pateintly for my gift now. Thanks for all the replies & support.
