converting to jpegs for the web I recently learned that when I convert a photoshop file to a jpeg and upload it to the Betterphoto web site, that unless I convert the profile my colors show up dull. I know how to convert to the sRGB profile but does anyone have a faster easier way to do a lot of photographs at once? 4/20/2009 8:39:24 AM |

No, but many of us upload as tiffs instead of jpeg..that seems to work better for me.

I just started doing this: if you are using photoshop cs4 I go file/automate/fit image/ set 750 - 750 and my image are clear and true to color. Rita

Kimber, what profile do you have set up in PS? If you set your Working Space color profile to sRGB within PS, the photos will aready be in that format and you won't have to do any converting when you upload picture files. The format of the picture (tiff vs. jpg) or image size won't affect color accuracy or brightness if the color profile is wrong.

No that won't work cause I work in Pro photo for printing and this is just for fun. I guess I will have to build an action. I was hoping someone already had one built.
