lost the histogram


I have a Canon 40D and recently did 2 things and lost my histogram...changed lenses, and reset camera settings to default settings..now I have no histogram in the LCD monitor! Does anyone know what I did or how to get it back? (Bummer!!) Thanks for any help, Janet

  check your info button on the back of the camera by the jump and playback button. I shoot with the canon 30D. This is what I use when I want to see the histogram.

  Correct Mary, The 40D has 3 modes using the info button should change the LCD from full screen to partial screen with RGB histogram and then pressed again will include the levels histogram.
