Losing my tweaked captures in Elements 5

Hi, I use Photoshop 5 to tweak my photographs. Then I send them to disk. I like to burn two copies of my tweaked captures, one for my files and one for my clients. The problem is after the first burn, my file is empty and I can't burn the second disk. I do not want to re-tweak my photo's a second time from my originals. Does anyone know how I can keep the tweaked photo's from dissapearing? If you do, would you please advise me in a step by step way as I am not the best person on a computer. Please help if you can. Thank you, "ps"

Paul,

HOW are you sending them to the disk?"

After I have edited my photos, I simply drag and drop all my "tweaked" photos with a left mouse click. When I release the mouse, I am given the option (MOVE or COPY) Use COPY; NOT move.

Pete
