Photography Question

Need HELP finishing this photo. Please help.

Hello. I need help finishing up my Christmas card. I selected, cut and paste the hat onto the gorilla. I used some of the transform techniques to try to fit it as best as I could. Now I am stuck and am not sure what to do next. Oh, and I also added a little bit of a shadow on the bottom area of the hat. The sides to me look like they are too sharp, so how do I smooth them out?

Please can someone help me finish this up??? Thanks!

Have a great day.

Michele

Looks to me like a case of 'feathering' and 'selective blurring', Michele. Check the help files of your photo editor app to see if it has those tools.

A gorilla with a dreadlocks Santa hat is weird enough, but what's he doing on a tropical island, judging by the palm trees? Gorillas don't live on tropical islands. They live in dense forests. Without palm trees.

Have fun!

  Thanks!!

I don't remember exactly what he was sitting in front of, but I don't think it was a palm tree; maybe something similar. The gorilla with the green background is the original photo. The only thing different is the santa hat! :)
