shadow on picture I have a Sony cyber-shot 5.0 with a wide angle lens. I get a shadow in the lower right corner. I think it is the flash bouncing off of the lens. What can I do? I use this camera for real estate.

I don’t know this camera but ------ Shadow in the corner or corners called a vignette. Often occurs with wide angle lens with improperly sized lens hood. If I am correct and this is a zoom lens, the vignette will disappear if you zoom in (more magnification). Often camera bodies can accept various lens designs and if this one was not selected with care, a vignette results. The vignette could be an obstruction from a lens hood or some other camera body part. The wide-angle is shorter than the normal lens so camera body impingement can occur with the wide-angle and not with a longer (normal) lens. Some so-called wide-angles are normal lenses with a wide-angle supplemental mounted in front. These are prone to vignette especially when the zoom is set to the widest view. The vignette on just one corner is likely caused by an obstruction. Hope this help, Alan Marcus

I am assuming it's one of Sony's wide angle conversion lenses you are talking about. I had this same problem with my DSC-F717. The only solution I found was not to use flash when the lens was on the camera. It's so big that it blocks part of the flash.I suppose you could buy one of their flashes that attaches to the hot shoe on top of the camera and sets up higher to avoid the lens. Alan, this is a point and shoot, since she is saying Cybershot..
