Microtek Scanmaker 8700 Greetings, I have been searching for months to find any testimonials (reviews) of the Microtek Scanmaker 8700 Dual Platform scanner (both a flatbed and "bottom drawer" glassless film scanner), but am surprised at the lack of information about the scanner, even though it has been out for quite a while. The design makes a lot of sense, since 35mm, MF and LF film is scanned WITHOUT GLASS (eliminating Newton's rings and dust problems), and is also a flatbed. Can anyone give me a report? Skot Weidemann
