Studio Lighting

I recently bought studio lighting equipment. I used them to shoot prom portraits and they worked great. However, I went to set them up and there seems to be a problem with my remote transmitter connected to my lights. It is making my strobes flash constantly. Any ideas what could be causing this?

This sounds like the connection is loose.
Every time you unplug a sync on a light with it's power on,you'll gte a flash, so it sounds like the connection is loose causing it to repeat its flashes.
I hope this make sence to you.
If you don't have another cord, then tape it still and try again, to test.
most likely you just need a new cord.
I hope this helps,
debby
