Hi all...still looking for someone who lives in DC and would be willing to give me a hand. My photograph is currently on display at the smithsonian castle as a finalist in their contest. I unfortunately cannot get there to see it, but would love if someone would be willing to go take a picture of my picture! Sounds silly in a way but I'd appreciate it! Please feel free to message me if you can help out :) thanks!

Why don't you try Googling and contacting some DC 'guided tours for tourists' companies, Susan? They go there everyday, one would think. And how about the Smithsonian's PR department?
Just a couple thoughts.

Striking photo indeed!

Have fun!

Sarah G   Is this what you are talking about?

New: Eyes on the World: Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest

July 1, 2008 - January 15, 2009

From thousands of photographs submitted to Smithsonian magazine's 5th Annual Photo Contest from the United States and around the world, the judges selected 50 finalists. Of these, 36 are on view, including the grand prize winner and the winners in the following 5 categories: The Natural World, Travel, People, Americana, and Altered Images (photographs that have been manipulated).

Is yours going to be there until Jan 15, 2009? If so, then someone ought to be able to get there by then.
