Photography Question

Rich Collins

Is Acetate still the best film over prints?

I have been advised to use Acetate as a covering for my prints. This is a lower-cost method when showing your prints than having to buy frames. Can anyone advise if this is still the best? Recently a salesperson informed me that perhaps Dura_Lar or Something called (?) Graphix film, can't recall.

It will only hang for a month but it needs to be archival so as to not fuse with the printed surface.

Acetate won't chip, crack, peel, rust, warp or flake. Or better yet, just frame it and use glass.
