broken exposimeter I have an old Pentax MX, everything is working properly but the exposimeter is always on!! I mean not only when I half press the shoot button, always! I really don't know how to fix it, surely is really simple, anyone knows?? Thank you 10/3/2008 8:59:04 AM |

It sounds like a bad contact under the shutter release. It will probably cost more than the camera is worth to fix. You may want to pull the batteries when you're not using it and put them back in when you are. Pentax always built a bullet proof camera, but repairs can be very pricey. To have it fixed will cost at least 25% of the cost of a new DSLR. you may just want to put it on the shelf next to grandma's and grandpa's photograph and purchase a DSLR.Either that, or opt for another MX from ebay.
