One persons trash is another persons treasure :) It's not weird to take pics of things you find interesting :)

It's a known fact that any photo of any subject will appeal to someone. If your thoughts and intentions experienced at the scene are clearly communicated through what you've portrayed, the photo has a better chance at being successful.

If it were strange to shoot photographs of things like these, then I guess we're all a little weird. Many photographers enjoy shooting off the wall subjects. Like Bobby said, "One man's trash is another man's treasure". Have fun and keep shooting, Mark H.

I don't think it's weird at all! I do this quite often. There is beauty all around, a good photographer has the eye to stop and see it!

Creating interesting imagery within a mundane microcosm is challenging and can be acurately referred to as "getting something from nothing". On those days when there's literally NOTHING to shoot, we often find ourselves desperately searching and reaching within our creative minds to come up something...ANYTHING that we think someone might find interesting or intriguing. Sometimes, it's those with the most twisted minds who reap the lion's share of rewards. (...and sometimes, not.)
