Hi Nancy, What editing software are you using ? I use Photoshop or Elements and it has all the tools, I will mention here. If you have a type tool select the tool and place it where you want to type and hold the ALT key while typing 0169 and release the ALT key to get the © symbol (or "option G" for MAC) and then type "2008 Nancy".

Nancy, Carlton's suggestions are good. Should you want more info on this subject then type "watermarking" in the search box at the top right of this page and hit Enter. Have fun!

Nancy, one more thing I would like to mention is that photos posted on a Better Photo site are right-click protected although you can never stop anyone from doing a screen capture (and some OS/browsers will over ride the right-click protection) but using small sized images and the watermark will render them pretty useless for most people to try and steal. If you decide to post images on Better Photo, read their suggestions for sizing them (like 500 pixels on the short side). Carlton

Hi W.S. - Already thanked Carlton for his suggestions, and I also thank you for taking time to respond to my question. I'll try both when the time comes for me to get my name on the photo. Thanks, Nancy
