Photography Question

Raw Converters

I did a little test for myself.I used the same image to test four raw converters. I don't know what camera was used with the image, I got the image out of a photoshop book.It must have been a Nikon because the image was a NEF. I only did minimal adjustments in the converters exposure, and white balance. In PS I did the exact same adjustments. These adjustmentswere recommended in the Scott Kelby - 7 point system book.

The results were: NX2 produced the best image by far. The image resulting from using Capture One was okay but not a good as NX2. The results for DXO pro were nothing to bragg about. The PS converter was terrible (it was to saturated) when comparing to NX2 and Capture One.

Can someone please comment on my observations an which converter do most of you use?

I've used the Picture Project converter that comes with Nikon cameras. I didn't like it at all. Way too basic. I use the RAW converter in PS3 and love it. I have no experience with others.
