Photography Question

Ease of useClient Proofing Software

Ok, I have used a client prrofing software from Labprints, called photoherald, for about a year now. It has been fine up till I had a huge wedding with over 1200 images.

Here is what I am wanting. I want a client proofing software that allows the customer to crop, change the picture to B&W, or sepia if they want, but still allow me to do the ordering and printing, because I don't want to pay someone 15% to print for me (ie: photoreflect.)

If anyone can help with this issue that would be great!

Also you guys should check out the new website: http://lanephotographyonline.com

Also give bludomain.com the props they are phenominal and priced great!

I'm not sure there are photo display websites that allow viewers to edit the images ("customer to crop, change the picture to B&W, or sepia") as it were. In any case, IMO the photographer should do that. The customer should only have to choose which photos, at what size(s), and how many of them he/she wants printed. OK, he/she can choose glossy, matte, and lustre/satin too.
If you want their input on the edits, you will need to sit down with them and take notes. With 1200 images that's gonna take a day or two... And the Post Production must still start!

Better YOU pare it down to, say, 200 technically good images (nothing out-of-focus, or moving, or camera shake, or eyes closed, etc. etc.; I'll bet less than half will remain!). 300 max! Which you PP well and present 1024x768 screen versions of to the customer to pick and choose from which to print, and how (many).

Have fun!
