  I helped a friend o this with a flapper theame.
she used a brown background an made a fake Bar an used some wooden stools for them to pose sitting and standing around the bar.
it all came out really cute!

hope this helps,

  Garage sales, thrift stores, and flea markets. Judging by the theme, you're going to be looking for world war II memorabilia. I'll bet you're going to have fun on this one. Good luck.

Have fun and keep shooting,
Mark H.

  I am also going to need lights, any good ideas on where to rent some or get some to get me started. I want to get good ones but not spend more than I would make... portable or ?
Up to now I have been doing outside senior shots for the most part so I will be investing in some but done't know where to start.:}

  So, Alicia, exactly how much will you make for this gig so we know what price range you're working in.

  I am still waiting to get numbers from the ladies as to the $ there are tables sponcers and the gala is paying for their picts. I have to come up with a package for the tables. I am thinking 5x7 and 8x10 for $15. Then they will do promo from the dj to get others to come in. ajoining room to get picts done. But I don't know how many tables there are yet she should get that info to me this week.
I have about $1500 to work with out of my moneys to do my photography. I have been saving for a better camera, working with a digital canon rebel.

  Alicia,
if this is a fund raiser,knowing that part of those monies are going back to the cause helps alot!
You don't have to say how much,but avertise that a portion of all proceeds go to....
I would then consider your package for $25.00 with $5.00 going back.

As far as lights, is the $1,500 for a camera an lights?
if so that will let me know what lights to suggest.
you can email me your thoughts on this to me if you prefer
