Metz Flash for Nikon D-200 I just bought a used Metz 45CL-4 flash (non-digital) to use with my Mamiya RZ67. I was wondering if anybody has used this flash with a Nikon D-200? What extras would I need to use it with a digital camera?

Metz' SCA 3402 adapter to match the 45CL-4 to the D200. Have fun!

Thanks W.S, I thought I have read somewhere that you need to use a certain cord so that you don't zap the digital equipment? I this true?

I dunno about a 'certain cord' that would prevent 'zapping' the cam, but I do know many older flashguns (say, 5 years or older) generate a high-voltage spike when set off that would fry the camera. I'm sure the Metz people can tell you whether you need that cable or not.

Try these guys Robert. They offer cords with built-in protective circuitry. http://www.paramountcords.com/ Take it light.

BTW, bhphotovideo.com would probably offer you better prices on Paramount cords than Paramount themselves. They would also get them for you faster than the folks at Paramount could make them and ship them out. They make excellent, durable, useful products but IMHO their customer service even for pros, stinks. My pleasure Bob ;>) Any time.
