Bandula S. Tilakasena		Sony Digital Still Camera Batteries Can I use Sony NP-FS11 battery in my Sony DSC-55 camera, instead of the original model NP-F10? BetterPhoto Member		Like Carolyn said, contact the company. Sony cameras are nonorious for being picky on batteries. It's of utmost importance that you get the correct battery or your camera may be damaged. Have fun and keep shooting, Mark H. Answer from Sony: With regards to your enquiry, please be informed that you may use the rechargeable battery pack NP-FS11 with the Cyber-shot camera DSC-F55. My second Question Thank you very much for the reply. I notice that this battery NP-FS 11 takes a long time for normal charge (for the amber lamp on charger AC-VF10 to off it takes about 135 minutes). How long I have to wait for the full-charge of this battery on charger AC-VF10 as against 145 minutes specified for NP-F10 battery Answer from Sony: In response to your email, please be informed that it would take 170 minutes for a full charge of the NP-FS11 battery compared to 145 minutes for a full charge of the NP-F10 battery on the AC-VF10 charger.
