Photography Question

Christie R. Bielss

Altered Photo Category

Hi! I have a photo of my son playing baseball that I think may need to be re-entered. Since I removed parked cars from the background, does that mean it should go in the "digital darkroom" or in the "people" category in the Free Contest?
Thanks for your help!
Christie

Your choice! It could go in either. Generally, DD is for photos where the primary distinction of the photo is the digital manipulation. So maybe People would be best for yours. Hard to say for sure without seeing it.

Thanks Melinda! Here's the thread for the photo if you have a second to take a look (I think I got this right).

Super cute photo, Melissa! I agree with Melinda that it belongs in People, not DD. The primary thrust of the photo is not the digital correction/adjustment that you did to enhance the subject.

  Christie,

Now that I've seen it, I stand by my original thought and hope you entered it in People. It's a very cute (and funny) shot!
