How is Sony A200 ? Does anyone owns this camera ? If yes, could you please share your feedback / experience with this camera? I would also like to see some sample photos if you have uploaded them here .. Please let know. planning to buy it next week !!

Hi Digvjay. I don't have the 200, but started with the 100 last May and got the 700 last month. I had been using a Minolta SLR prior to the Sony. My primary reason for going with the Sony was that all my lens fit the Sony. As you can probably tell, I was very pleased with the 100, so much so I invested in the 700. Both my husband and I use the Sony 100 and 700. Take a look at our galleries, Gene Gregory and Eloise Gregory. I'm sure the 200 is as good as the two we have. Have you thought about the A300 or A350?

Here are two links to the reviews for the A200 and the A350. Good info in both. I'd shoot for the 350 myself. I don't think you would go wrong with either of them. The stabalizer is great and with the 200 or 350 you have one less dial to play with for settings. Hi, I was thinking of buying this one next week, but I am confused on A300 / A350 The problem is that in India (in Pune, where I am from) Sony hasn't launched A300/350 yet... They do have A700 but that is too costly for me ... So, there are two options for me - Whats your thoughts ? Should I wait for A350 ? My guess is that I would probably have to wait for 3+ months for it. Thanks,

I would go with what you want. If you want to wait for the 300/350, by all means wait. I think you will be happy with which ever you go with.

I am very happy with my a100. I have owned mostly Minolta cameras for the past 25 years. The only problem I had with my Sony was the fact that it was 80 bucks for my flash module. You will be very happy with whatever you choose.
