Labs Which will Print Nudes
Hi -- I shoot a lot of nudes - whether it's a pregnant naked woman, or a woman doing boudoir photos for a significant other. I currently use ACI Lab for my printing, and I love them, but I always have to be sure there is no pubic hair in my shot or they will not print it. My photos are not pornographic in any sense, and despite that, if there is any pubic area showing, I can't print them for my client (I don't want to spend the time doing my own printing -- too time consuming). Does anyone know of a professional lab which does top quality work that doesn't have this issue? If so, please let me know. Thank you, Susannah Robbins www.studiorobbins.com

boy if you could post a few photos.i am so teasing. the laws have reached all of us.morality is legislated daily.how that works now is we're all thrown in with the sick and the ped's. I hope if it's still available someone contacts you personally, not post as a general source. to give this sick bunch one more source? please be careful,i am not judging. but even with a developer I trust, will copies be made? I agree that it's such a beauty, the request is real and they so trust you. please be careful, sam

Check out the ads in the back of Shutterbug. Consider also buying a good printer, doing the monitor and printer calibration song and dance and do your own. Consider also shooting medium format black-and-white, developing the film yourself, and either print using the old wet darkroom method, or scan your medium format negs using a reasonably priced photo flatbed scanner.

Susannah, you might try contacting Miller's and see what their policy is. www.millerslab.com. They are the parent company to Mpix.com.

Thank you all for your input. I did call Miller's and they said they would print them as long as they were "artistic" and not pornoraphic. Do you all know if there's a quality difference between Miller's and MPIX if they are part of the same company? I'll probably do a test with both, but any input is welcome. Thanks again, Susannah Robbins www.studiorobbins.com
