this section of photos was hard to capture because the 3 piece light set up wasn't allowing me to get down low in front of the little girl without a shadow and the external flash was too bright even at its lowest

even with the external flash the husband still had a shadow on his face

same with the shadow on her face....now working without an assistant how can i possition a reflector and where is the light source for the reflector?

only had 2 300 watt floods w/o softbox or barn doors...any suggestion?

so I have a decent strobe light kit and a 3 piece constant light kit but still cant seem to get the more technically advaced lighting set up....ie. everything is evenly lit but struggling with it being too flat... and I am using my external flash to set the strobe off because the remote is broken and its creating problems...suggestions please
