Need a macro lens for a Canon 10D I am currently using a point and shoot camera and occasionally stealing my daughters Canon 10D. However, I hope to buy her camera this summer. I really enjoy macro photography and was hoping that someone here could point me in the right direction when it comes to purchasing a macro lens for the Canon 10D. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Hmmm... rules out my favorite, the Canon 100mm-f/2.8. Sigma makes a 50mm macro for about $270, I think. You might check out this site, which reviews Canon, Sigma & Tamron lenses, then go see what they sell for at Adorama or B&H... http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/
