Yes it was! I had the 3rd place in the winners but really didn't figure on having honorable mentions. The finalist total for Jan. should be higher. I do think it was just the same judge who did a few low months before. I know they rotate. No finalist yet... I still look forward to seeing them, I miss a ton of great photos, I'm only on a hour a night if that.

Wonderful winners--and I was so pleased to see the Honorable Mention picks. Even if there are only three "winners," it's very nice to see the next tier in the judging. I enjoyed the variety there, too.

I am not very clear with the reference information about the cash photo prizes. it says 1st prize 1000 but there are now grand prize,first place ,second and honorable . so how are the prizes now?

Min there is only 3 prizes , It really doesnt matter how you say it , 1st ,2nd and 3rd or Grand prize , 1st and 2nd . It's still 3 prizes. I was surprised by the Honorable Mention's . But it was a nice touch for BetterPhoto to add them to the contest.
