I don't know myself, but I'm guessing 200,000. I know there's ALOT! Hopefully, someone else will chime in with a better response.

I went to the Community, Premium page and tallied the # of Premium galleries for folks with last names of A, B, C, and D. The total was 1043. I didn't want to tally up all 26...too lazy! Maybe someone else could do the honor??

Chris B. loves stats, so I asked him and here's his response: "I come up with 13,298, adding up all the counts of Free, Premiere, Deluxe and Pro gallery holders under the Community Menu. 54% are Free Gallery holders, 30% hold Premiere, not quite 1% hold Deluxe, just over half of 1% hold Pro." Guess, I was way off. Thanks Chris!

Thanks, Chris...that's alot of members...I'd be curious BP's growth rate; e.g., what was the tally 5 years ago, 2 years ago, etc. I'm sure BP has that info. I'm sure it's a success story...continued growth. For every person that leaves, I bet two or three new ones come along...

I think that would be interesting to see also Ken. I'm also wondering about "members" who don't have galleries, no way to add them to the count probably.

we all get a member #. elida,11/6/2007,#269,548. corrine,7/31/2005,#128,061. ken,6/11/2005,#121,358. that does not mean all members are still active,just how many have joined bp. sam

oh I don't know.so many now are complaining.what about this and what about that.complaints about editors picks and finalists?the I don't visit a members gallery because they get offended.so some patronize themselves.some have complained,changes have been made.so as I am I say shut up.some are not here to help new members. well. interest and knowledge attracts mold if it is not shared.included in the right to be a photographer.i agree the search is there,but some look for a teacher or mentor.what do we do?

If you do a right-mouse click on your thumbnail, you'll see a filename. That's your BP number.

I don't get any file name when I right click. I get a list of what do you want to do's.. I would think your BP number would be your gallery member number..I've been here a while...mine is 17137.

On second thought, that doesn't make sense either....Jim is 124 and I doubt if there would be one before the owner of the place..his wife Denise is 1173..so scratch all the above response. I don't know how else to find out.

I meant to say...right click on your mini-pic, then select "file, save as." There, you'll see the number....but based on your detective work, Carolyn, it doesn't make sense that Jim would be 124 and his wife 1173. So you're right...scratch that! LOL

i am the dumbest one here as far as computers.but anytime you have a contact it says member #.mine is 60933.the right click is bogus.that displays a computer #.i am a blatent idiot who posts stupid junk.hates arrogance,posts stuff just to p certain people off and..... I actually got those #'s from tennessee tuxedo.well might have been mr. wizard. well elida it seems thanks to your friends I have this great big gigantic hat that i'm fishing #'s out of. elida,i got #'s because you got questions.WOW.where did I get them?you have to be a mason. sam
