Notifications of Photo Discussions When I comment on someone else's photo, I uncheck the box that says "If you would like to be notified when this photo is discussed, check this box." If I forget to uncheck it, how can I stop receiving emails about comments on that photo? Or can I? I have my default set to receive notifications so I can know when somebody comments on my own photos, and I don't want to change that, if possible.

Click on My Member Center, then on Discussion/Q&A. The items you've commented on will appear there, and you can turn off (or on) the email option on any of them.

Colleen, go to your member's center and then click on Discussions/Q&A. In there you will find a list of all your questions and responses. Out to the right you will see the words "on" "off" under the heading email notifications. Then simply select off on the ones you don't want to recieve notifications for any more.

There is also another way to do it. When you get an email from a discussion that you forgot to uncheck the box on, scroll down the email and toward the end there is a link to follow so that you don't get any more notifications/emails on that particular discussion thread.

Or you could go to your Member Center, and under Member Info change the default from Send Notifications to the opposite. Then if you want to follow the thread, check the box on the individual image. Much easier, unless you want to follow over 50% of the images you comment on.

Kay, I didn't want to change the default in my member center because then I'd have to click on the notify box every time I uploaded one of my own photos. Ronald, thanks for the tip! For some reason, that discussion didn't show up on my list of member discussions, so when I next got an email notice, I found the link you referred to--voila! Easy! :)
