Benefits of a macro ring light I am debating buying a macro ring light for me Canon 100mm for my Canon XTi. I have read a few mixed reviews on the benefits. I love to do flower macro and sometimes the shading is off. But someone wrote that the ring light makes the image look artifical. If it's worth it, I don't mind the extra cost. Does anyone have their two cents regarding this? I would really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks, Lisa

Hi Lisa, a macro ring light is a major expense. Are you sure you will be using it enough tfor it worth that? Maybe you want to start simple, to see if macro is really for you. Before you fork out hundreds for a macro ring light.
